In the original Japanese language games (Dragon Quest) Erdrick is known by the name Loto (or Roto, depending on the romanization system used). The name Loto is also used in the Game Boy Color remakes. In Dragon Warrior I/II there is a place known as Erdricks' Grave which is a fundamental part of the adventure, there is also a grave for Erdrick in the original Final Fantasy (video game) Template:Cvg-char-stub
