this is just taken from the banks website!?!?!

Yes, it just sounds like an advert. 90.206.170.154 (talk) 08:26, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Can't say I found it all that adverty, at least not relative to others I have seen. Still, I believe that my edit today has removed, or at least substantially reduced, the problem. Acad Ronin (talk) 14:24, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Stock price crash

This bank's stock price has crashed:

http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=ANGL.L#chart1:symbol=angl.l;range=5y;indicator=volume;charttype=line;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=on;source=undefined

Why? According to the entry, it made over a billion euros in the year ended Sept 2007. Now it is selling for about 5% of it's former stock price. And it doesn't even have a retail presence (maybe that was the problem - would have been better to have had retail deposits? - does anybody know???) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.129.128.26 (talk) 11:49, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Secret recordings

Someone should add a paragraph about the secret recordings between Bowe and Fitzgerald released by the Independent ("The astonishing tapes show senior manager John Bowe, who had been involved in negotiations with the Central Bank, laughing and joking as he tells another senior manager, Peter Fitzgerald, how Anglo was luring the State into giving it billions of euro"). See here. 178.192.235.209 (talk) 09:29, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
