Jameis Winston (born January 6, 1994) is an American football quarterback, baseball outfielder, and relief pitcher for the Florida State Seminoles.
Early years
Winston attended Hueytown High School in Hueytown, Alabama. He played both American football and baseball. Winston was considered the best dual-threat quarterback recruit in the nation by Rivals.com. He was considered the best QB recruit by ESPN.
Winston was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 15th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft but he decided to go to college instead.
