Justice Crew
why can't i edit the Page Justice Crew this section is false Philanthropy
The group's mentor Maurice June created a non-profit organisation known as MMAD Moves (Musicians Making a Difference), which teaches dance lessons to children, teenagers and adults who cannot afford to pay for classes. June teamed up with The Salvation Army to connect the program with a church. Justice Crew have previously joined June at various Salvation Army corps, including Miranda, New South Wales and Hurstville, New South Wales. They also regularly perform at the annual Christmas Carol events, such as the Carols in the Domain and Carols in the City, where performers donate their time to raise money for various charities.
im trying to remove it as it is false. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Buraddo (talk • contribs) 14:18, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- I've created a new section for your message so my talk page will be easier to navigate. The reason I reverted your edits is because you removed a section which contains information that has been cited in multiple sources. Because the information can be verified in these sources, removing it appears unconstructive. If you have sources which indicate that the indication is incorrect, you might try posting them on the article's talk page to generate a discussion about whether the information in the section should be included. However, repeatedly blanking the section, especially after messages to you asking you not to do so, will be viewed as disruptive. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 14:32, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

What's the problem? Nikos 1993 (talk) 21:38, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
- When the edit came up in the recent changes it looked unconstructive to me, so I reverted it. On closer look, I think that while it's not an edit I can particularly endorse, it wasn't made with any kind of ill will or malice in mind. I see you've already changed the page again, and I'll leave it alone from this point on. Sorry about any confusion. Let me know if you have any questions. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 21:47, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
- "it's not an edit I can particularly endorse" - i'm not a junkie if that's what you mean :D. i'm just interested in illicit drugs, abuse of them and life of people who use them. Nikos 1993 (talk) 21:52, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
- No, that's not what I want to say at all; I just meant that that particular list strikes me as one that doesn't benefit from the addition of street names. The article on heroin would benefit, but this list of substances in the smoking article, not so much, in my opinion. Seems to me like it's inviting the list to get unmanageable, given the number of possible additions it opens up. Didn't mean to imply anything about you personally, and again, I shouldn't have treated your edit as any kind of malfeasance. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 23:02, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

As they say on the internet...
Eponysterical! Do you watch Jerk on purpose, just so that jerks vandalising jerk can be reverted by some jerk on the interwebz? A fluffernutter is a sandwich! (talk) 21:38, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- Nah, just lucky on that one. I'd already reverted and warned that particular person a couple of times, so I suspect their vandalism of jerk was in response to that. But it did get nice and meta there for a moment, didn't it? --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 13:36, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

message(s) about my Home Depot edits that were considered as vandalism
I would like to inform you that what I did to that particular article was in response to my Misplaced Pages Ambassador's advice so that I could contribute information to the article - Year Round School - which at that point in time required me to have at least 10 edits on the site (lock was removed about a week ago). To my knowledge I didn't have any edits so my Misplaced Pages Ambassador gave me advice to edit a page slightly (at random) and then go in and correct the small change I made so that I could get up to the required 10 edits. As you can see in the Year Round School's article, I contributed information that was relevant to the topic, meaning that I am not on Misplaced Pages to vandalize.
My actions were from the given advice I received to allow me to contribute information to this site and I would appreciate it if you ceased with the messaged/posts on my talk page about me doing vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sleenen (talk • contribs) 04:49, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- If this is true, then your WP ambassador was in error and you were misinformed, although perhaps a different warning template ought to have used--see WP:Test edit. Please do not make test edits to Misplaced Pages articles; WP:Sandbox is available for that purpose. Thank you. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 15:52, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

I see you added a link to JCVI.org, which appears broken.
I couldn't figure out how to find what you meant, so I have replaced the link with a link to another source.
If you feel JCVI is a better source, feel free to add it, if you can get the link to work.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 18:35, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- Looks like I re-added that link in the process of reverting unconstructive edits. I'd go with your link, but thanks for letting me know. --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 14:21, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of B.C. Rich Mockingbird
The article B.C. Rich Mockingbird has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A poorly written, poorly sourced article.
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
