If Comcast is the largest cable company in the world, why does it have such limited television in their costly basic to mid level package, which is made up of predominately crime programs, repeated programs, outdated programs, non profit religious programs, reality shows which are actually quite boring. It is a legal voyeurism of watching someones life inside their home. Which in essence, is illegal. Moreover, it is staged reality. To combine it with the crime shows filled with overt violence compared to the reality shows which are inundated with fighting, quarreling, backstabbing, competitiveness, and living an ostentatious indulgent life only to read later on about the bankruptcy, divorces and fraud in the tabloids at the grocery store. For the exception of "BUBU", which is about a light hearted loving relatively obese family that doesn't eat healthy at all, but are staged and act and look bored as heck. Food channels which I have yet to see any of this bountiful generous, tasty food in any restaurant I have eaten at. Were are these restaurants? We get all of this for $99.00 the first year and it increases each year for the basic package up to $169.00 each month. Compared to Direct TV, which is primarily home shopping networks,crime programs, food channels, religious networks, sports channels for $179.00 package for month, which is why we changed in the first place. I find it amazing that these billion dollar industries can't afford to provide any educational channels included in their basic packages which also charge at least $20.00 in city,county,state and federal taxes per month. Aren't taxes supposed to go back to the well being of the public. Isn't that we have government at all and allow it to exist? |
