:I take your point, but between the two examples that you gave and the Comcast–Xfinity relationship, there’s at least one significant difference which I believe justifies not splitting the article. That is that ''Verizon FiOS'' and ''AT&T U-verse'' are brands used specifically for services delivered by way of the respective companies’ fiber-optic networks. At the risk of being snide, ''Xfinity'' is just a different name for services that are similar to those that were branded ''Comcast'', delivered through essentially the same network. :I take your point, but between the two examples that you gave and the Comcast–Xfinity relationship, there’s at least one significant difference which I believe justifies not splitting the article. == Question ==

If Comcast is the largest cable company in the world, why does it have such limited television in their costly basic to mid level package, which is made up of predominately crime programs, repeated programs, outdated programs, non profit religious programs, reality shows which are actually quite boring. It is a legal voyeurism of watching someones life inside their home. Which in essence, is illegal. Moreover, it is staged reality. To combine it with the crime shows filled with overt violence compared to the reality shows which are inundated with fighting, quarreling, backstabbing, competitiveness, and living an ostentatious indulgent life only to read later on about the bankruptcy, divorces and fraud in the tabloids at the grocery store. For the exception of "BUBU", which is about a light hearted loving relatively obese family that doesn't eat healthy at all, but are staged and act and look bored as heck. Food channels which I have yet to see any of this bountiful generous, tasty food in any restaurant I have eaten at. Were are these restaurants? We get all of this for $99.00 the first year and it increases each year for the basic package up to $169.00 each month. Compared to Direct TV, which is primarily home shopping networks, crime programs, food channels, religious networks, sports channels for $179.00 package for month, which is why we changed in the first place. I find it amazing that these billion dollar industries can't afford to provide any educational channels included in their basic packages which also charge at least $20.00 in city, county, state and federal taxes per month. Aren't taxes supposed to go back to the well being of the public. Isn't that we have government at all and allow it to exist?

Comcast Business Class

Xfinity

Considering how Verizon FiOS is separate from Verizon Communications, and the same with AT&T U-verse and AT&T Inc., I don't think it's far fetched to separate the triple play service Xfinity, from the telecommunications and media parent company Comcast. NThomas (talk) 04:23, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

I take your point, but between the two examples that you gave and the Comcast–Xfinity relationship, there’s at least one significant difference which I believe justifies not splitting the article. That is that Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-verse are brands used specifically for services delivered by way of the respective companies’ fiber-optic networks. At the risk of being snide, Xfinity is just a different name for services that are similar to those that were branded Comcast, delivered through essentially the same network.
