Scientific Research Publishing is an academic publisher of peer-reviewed open-access electronic journals, conference proceedings, and scientific anthologies. As of 2013, it offers more than 200 English language open access journals in the areas of science, technology, business, economy, and medicine. Its headquarters is in Wuhan, China. Its website states it was founded in 2007 and has other offices in California, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. The company has been accused of being a predatory open access publisher, and of abusing bulk email.

Open access type

According to Scientific Research Publishing's website it publishes fee-based open-access journals (gold OA). In addition, authors are permitted to archive their work (green OA). Pre-print, post-print and the publisher's version (PDF) may be used. According to Scientific Research Publishing's website it is fully open on reader rights (open access), reuse rights (based on CC-BY or CC BY-NC) as well as author rights (authors hold copyright with no restrictions).
