The Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School (PA Virtual) was established in 2001 as one of the first online, public, cyber charter schools in the state. PA Virtual Charter School serves more than 3,400 students throughout Pennsylvania from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a home-based setting. We use technology to assist in delivering individualized, nurturing, academically stimulating education for students in grades K-12. We have grown to become the most academically successful online public cyber school in the commonwealth. We consistently post the highest overall Pennsylvania Value Added Assessment System (PVAAS) scores of all cyber charter schools, which proves that we are moving students a head year over year.  We also provide dedicated, non-academic support to help develop each child's social potential.
