The Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party shortened as MPRP in English (Template:Lang-mn, Mongol Ardyn Khuvsgalt Nam, МАХН, MAKHN) is a political party in Mongolia. The party was established in 2010 by Nambaryn Enkhbayar. The party received approval to use the old name of the Mongolian People's Party from the Supreme Court of Mongolia. Enkhbayar became its current leader. Enkhbayar is a former chairman of the original MPRP, and former President of Mongolia who was convicted of corruption crimes, graft, embezzlement, misappropriation of government properties, and misuse of his position and sentenced to two and a half year prison term by all of three level courts in 2012.Enkhbayar was released from his rest of his jail term by the pardon of the President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj on 1 August 2013.

The Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party is an oldest and first political party in Mongolia. The MPRP was the ruling party of Mongolia from 1921 until 1996 (with no other political parties allowed until 1990), and from 2000 until 2012. The party was established on March 1, 1921, and is claimed to have been the first real political party in Mongolia. It was originally known as the Mongolian People's Party, but changed its name to Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party in 1924. With active involvement and support of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party, Mongolians promulgated new Constitution in 1992. Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party won the majority of votes in parliamentary elections held in 1992, 2000, 2004 and 2008 and was the ruling party between these periods. It has formed 2 coalition governments with Democratic Party in 2000-2004 and in 2008. Additionally, MPRP-backed candidates have won several presidential elections. Since 2003 the party has the status of a full membership in the Socialist International. During the last 20 years, MPRP has been introduced a big national developmental projects such as “Millennium Road”, Comprehensive National Development Program, Regional development program and others. The matter of amending the name of the party as “Mongolian People’s Party” has been at the core of open and numerous discussions among the party members. In 2010, the matter of restoring the original name of the party was extensively deliberated at all levels of party organizations, resulting on 81, 3% of all members were against the restoration of the original name of “Mongolian People’s Party”, and as result those members were recall “Extraordinary Congress of MPRP” with participation of more than 1000 members in 2011 and MPRP was re-established. After parliamentary elections in 2012, the MPRP, which ran in the elections as the Justice Coalition with Mongolian National Democratic Party (2005), became a part of a coalition government with the Democratic Party.
