Eric Godard (born March 7th, 1980 in Vernon, British Columbia) is a Canadian ice hockey forward who plays for the New York Islanders of the NHL. Godard went undrafted and was signed as a restricted free agent by the Florida Panthers on September 24, 1999. Godard is known for his agressive play and holds the record for the most penalty minutes for the Bridgeport Soundtigers
