Indophobia is practically the opposite of Indomania. It often refers as the skepticism (the west, esp. British) of Indian concepts and anything Indian in particular. It’s argued that the Indophobia was predictable fallout of the colonialism. Probably this could have originated from the culture shock the western conquerors had to face during their encounter with India.
