==Geraldine Edwards is not a hoax==

You were right in including the correct information about Geraldine Edwards on the Robert Palmer talk page. There is no question that Geraldine Edwards was Robert Palmer's companion at the time of his death, in fact, Robert Palmer and Geraldine Edwards became engaged in February of 2003. They had known one another since 1975, and were dating since 1999. Mary Ambrose was not Robert Palmer's girlfriend at the time of his death, although they had been involved in a casual relationship. However, during the time period that Mary Ambrose was involved with Robert Palmer, she was involved with a number of men, even having two children, in 2001 and 2002, with men known to Robert Palmer. Mary Ambrose's son born in 2001 was fathered by Mick Carter, who was Robert Palmer's manager, until Palmer fired him in the second week of September. Unfortunately, since Mick Carter was the first person to discover that Robert Palmer had died, he took the opportunity to lie to the press on a number of points, including naming Mary Ambrose as Robert Palmer's girlfriend. Robert Palmer was no longer involved with Mary Ambrose before his death. His only contact with her at that point was trying to iron out a settlement agreement with Ambrose ensuring that she would not give interviews about him, or discuss him with the press. Mick Carter was not fond of Geraldine Edwards, in fact he disliked her intently. Robert Palmer hadn't told many people about Mick Carter's firing, opting to complete his publicity appearances in Paris for Drive before doing so. Carter was fully aware of this, and took advantage of the situation. When it was discovered what he had done, and the surfeit of bogus and incorrect information that he had provided to the press worldwide, the information was invalidated due to his firing and credibility issues. Because of his close friendship with Mary Ambrose, he saw a money making opportunity for them in Robert Palmer's death. Carter even went so far as to stage a 'hoax' interview on Mary Ambrose's behalf, entitled Robert Palmer Was Addicted To My Love. The article appeared on the 28th of September, two days after the death of Palmer. The interview allegedly took place by phone, backed up by a signed release. When the interview was challenged by the family as being false, the interview was basically Robert Palmer emoting about Mary Ambrose, who his children knew he was no longer involved with in any vernacular at the time of his death, the article was revealed to be a hoax. At the time Robert Palmer was allegedly giving this interview by phone, he was in fact in attendance at a social function accompanied by three friends of his, who vouched he was with them the entire time the interview was allegedly taking place. As for the release, it was proven that Robert Palmer's signature was forged, and not a very good forgery at that. The article was to appear in three parts, but once the publishers realized that the article was a hoax, they cancelled the publication of the other two parts of the article and invalidated the one part that they had ran. Your posting of Mary Ambrose's family clarifying the situation as it stood in reality with Robert Palmer was the proper and correct action. Binksternet has lost all perspective on this issue, becoming disturbed over the issue of Geraldine Edwards in the extreme. Geraldine Edwards was in fact a well known groupie when she was young, involved with Eric Clapton, Roger Daltry, Rick Springfield, and many others. She was friends with Cameron Crowe, and was one of the inspirations for Penny Lane in Almost Famous, as stated by Cameron Crowe himself. Both lived in San Diego in the early to mid-seventies and often went backstage to rock shows together. And above all she was in fact Robert Palmer's fiancee at the time of his death. And in no way is the woman a hoax, as Binksternet is so fond of referring to her as. That is a simple matter of public record. One of the reasons for Binksternet's loss of perspective and bizarre behavior towards Geraldine Edwards is that he in fact knows Mary Ambrose. Mary Ambrose has family that lives in San Francisco, and he lives in Oakland. Approximately a couple of years ago when Mary Ambrose was visiting San Francisco, she met Binksternet, and they became friendly. Mary Ambrose has serious issues with Geraldine Edwards due to her engagement to Robert Palmer, which she has never resolved. Her friend, Binksternet, jumped at the chance to trash Geraldine Edwards when it was revealed that some of the cites attached to her name were improperly done. This being said, Geraldine Edwards, now Geraldine Flemming-Mueller, she has been married to her husband Anthony Flemming-Mueller since 2006, made arrangements with Misplaced Pages to have her name redacted from all the Misplaced Pages articles it appeared in, publicly stating that she considered the celebrity biographies and in particular the musician biographies to be lacking in professionalism, credibility and veracity. A senior level Misplaced Pages administrator was glad to help her in this endeavor. Binksternet removed her name from all the articles on behalf of his friend, Mary Ambrose, who as stated previously has jealousy and anger issues towards Geraldine, however, her name popped back up the following day on all the articles. It was a serious bone of contention for Geraldine Flemming-Mueller, and so the Misplaced Pages administrator was kind enough to prepare a bot that automatically removes her name from any Misplaced Pages article upon it's attempted inclusion, which she was very publicly grateful for. In a funny way, this insanity regarding Binksternet's obsession with Geraldine Edwards has hit the social media circuit, where Binksternet has become the subject of much ridicule. The social media sector is also the venue that revealed Binksternet's personal relationship with Mary Ambrose, something he apparently thought would not get out. Binksternet is also behind numerous slash and burn blog attacks on Geraldine Flemming-Mueller, which are promptly removed as soon as they appear due to their hostile nature. Geraldine Flemming-Mueller is now a successful businessperson and entrepreneur, who is an MPS, MBA, PhD in Business Administration, and an LLM (Legal Administrator). She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Anthony Flemming-Mueller, who is an English born M.D., J.D., and a successful professional investor, whose stock portfolio alone is valued at 150 million dollars. Geraldine Flemming-Mueller's business assets are valued at 23 million dollars. The Flemming-Mueller's own and operate a lucrative boutique legal practice in Los Angeles. They are heavily involved in charities and human rights organizations and are well respected and well liked. It was commendable of you to step up and challenge Binksternet on behalf of Geraldine Flemming-Mueller, and you did a good job in standing up to him, but it's probably not worth your time trying to reason with him. It's clear that he's stepped away from reality regarding Geraldine Flemming-Mueller in every way, and therefore can't respond in a sane or logical manner regarding the subject of her any longer. And it's all water under the bridge at this point, as Geraldine Flemming-Mueller had made it abundantly clear she's not interested in having her name on any Misplaced Pages sites, period, which is her right. But thank you for standing up to do the right thing. It is appreciated.

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. Please do not sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article talk pages or project pages such as the Village Pump. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Misplaced Pages experience! Thank you. Diffs

Zabadu, I don't think you're too stupid for wiki; diffs can be very confusing before you get used to them. And it didn't much matter that you didn't provide the right kinds of diffs in your 3RR complaint, as the admin reviewing the complaint could quite easily see all that had happened (=Toccata quarta's reverts and your reverts) by looking at the history of the page. I don't think anybody minded about the diffs, although experienced users are expected to provide them.

Anyway. If you want to learn how to create diffs, in case you need them in the future, see the Simple diff and link guide. Bishonen | talk 01:06, 7 February 2014 (UTC).
