Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas, Elektrik Band! At this wonderful time of year, I would like to give season’s greetings to all the fellow Wikipedians I have interacted with in the past! May you have a wonderful holiday season! The Arbiter 02:32, 13 December 2010 (UTC) |
Some advice from your adopter
Hey Elektrik Band! I have a few bits of advice to you.
1. First, when you start a new section on a editor's user talk page, click the "new section" tab at the top of the page rather than clicking "edit". That will make it a new section at the bottom of the page.
2. When you type a colon on the beginning of the line, that
is recognized as an indent. The more colons you put, the more you should indent. For example,
Hi there! The Arbiter 02:51, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hey! The Arbiter 02:51, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
- How are you doing? The Arbiter 02:51, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
- I'm doing great! The Arbiter 02:51, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
- How are you doing? The Arbiter 02:51, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
So you can see how the colons indent. That is how a conversation on a talk page should go.
3. And finally, when you sign your post, all you need to type is ~~~~. You don't need to type anything else after it.
Let me know if you need anything! The Arbiter 02:51, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

Note
Hi, Elektrik Band, you'll likely not be pleased about this but I have suppressed a number of edits to your userspace which reveal too much personally identifiable information about yourself. I've done this per policy and for your own protection and safety on-line as you are a self-declared minor. I'm really sorry about that and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add it. For some useful information on privacy and safety, take a look at Misplaced Pages:Guidance for younger editors. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages - Courcelles 02:59, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Love you like a love song
A tag has been placed on Love you like a love song, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ۞ Tbhotch & (ↄ), My comment was grammatically incorrect? My friend, as you know, Beyonce's new album 4 is being handled in a catastrophic way (i do not know if this is a correct word). Please voice your opinion here so that we can decide which format will suit "Party" that best. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫) 15:35, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

ARTPOP Consensus
@Elektrik Band: There has been a long discussion on the ARTPOP talk page about what the critical reception page and I'm attempting to bring in outside opinions as the discussion has gotten stagnant. Just to make sure you understand the situation fully, here are the nine sources I've listed that explicitly state that the album received generally positive reviews: DigitalSpy, Metacritic's weighted consensus of generally favorable, The Huffington Post, Entertainmentwise, YahooMusic, The Southern Digest, Pride Publishing Group, Off the Shelf, Street Insider. I'm arguing for the page to state that Artpop received general positive reviews with a disclaimer afterwards that states that the reception has been more ambivalent than her past works. STATic has been engaged in this debate for months and has admitted twice that he dislikes Lady Gaga and even made fun of her and her fans, which obviously constitutes WP:Bias. Homeostasis has previously been blocked from editing due to his unprofessional behavior on Gaga pages and has recently admitted that he's been accused numerous times of bias against the artist in question. This has been a ridiculous process that had no business lasting as long as it did, but as you can see, the consensus is obviously generally positive, although the response was more ambivalent than her previous work.
