The Universe Today forum was begun on the July 24 2003, and was powered by Invision Power Board. The forum was a place to discuss the Universe Today news. Also it was a place to ask space-related questions and discuss alternate theories. Members were also allowed to post astrophotos.
Early September 2005 the forums of Universe Today and Bad Astronomy combined to form the BAUT Forum. The combined forum made for a very large and active community.
