Kundakka Mandakka is a South Indian Tamil comedy film released in 2005, produced by SG Films.
Plot Summary
The movie is all about Ilangovan aka Ilango (Parthiban), a middle-class youth, who dreams to get his sister Kavitha (Mallika of Autograph fame) married to a millionaire. He is all very keen on becoming rich and falls in love with Roopa (Lakshmi Rai), daughter of a rich industrialist. Now and then Ilango comes across Chellappa (Vadivelu), a petty thief, and takes him for a fun ride. A sequence of events makes Ilango realize that money is not everything in life. He finally, along with Chellappa, takes efforts to get his sister married to the boy, whom she loved.

Critical Reception
The movie received average reviews from critics.
Malathi Rangarajan of The Hindu gave a mixed review wrote, "Don't look for coherence or logic in `Kundakka Mandakka,' because most of the time it is inane humour that rules."
Sify gave a negative review and wrote, "Enough endured. Instead of viewing this farce, stay at home and watch cartoon network!"

Box Office
The film flopped at the box office. But, due to it's screening on TV, especially the comedy sequneces, it has come to be regarded as an enjoyable and entertaining film.
