Formal mediation has been requested

The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Gonzalo Lira". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 13 July 2014.

Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.

I don't know who you are (I suspect you are Steve Keen, but it doesn't matter). You are violating Misplaced Pages standards about score-settling, gossip and original research. Please desist. This is getting tedious. Thank you. MILH (talk) 15:53, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

Please take a few moments to read this page on using self-published sources. We cannot use self-published sources like blogs to support claims about 3rd parties. Adding information using such sources as a reference is considered a violation of Misplaced Pages's policy on policy on living persons and should be removed immediately.

Also, there is a limit on reverting, or the number of times you can change an article, called WP:3RR, limiting each person to 3 reverts in a 24 hour period. However, reverting edits that violation the BLP policy is not affected by that limit. The edits you've made to the Gonzalo Lira article are easily beyond the 3RR limit and you are at risk for being blocked from editing because of that. Please use the article talk or other means of dispute resolution. Ravensfire (talk) 15:59, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Gonzalo Lira shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
You are WAY beyond the 3RR limit on this article and adding in BLP violations. You need to STOP adding the information and use the article talk page. Continuing to revert as you are will end up with you being blocked from editing further. Ravensfire (talk) 16:42, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
