Sharapova

I'm a little confused by the goings on. You deleted the user page and talk page didn't you? Then it was recreated. I did a G3 speedy delete request, but the page still exists. Regardless we can't have a page with that title even it's empty, right? --RacerX Talk to me 18:52, 21 June 2014 (UTC)

I deleted it just to make room for a block notice. The user account of that name exists anyway and so it will be found by search engines, too. Therefore I'd say having the associated talk page doesn't matter much. It also shows that Misplaced Pages took care of the situation by blocking the account. Ok, I sincerely trust you know better than I do of such matters. It seems to me the title is, in and of itself, a WP:BLP violation. When you delete files as F8, you may only delete those revisions of the file which have been moved to Commons, see WP:CSD#F8. In this case, you deleted both the high-resolution image and the low-resolution image, but only the low-resolution image was moved to Commons, and the high-resolution image contains data not on Commons. The easiest way to move old revisions of files to Commons is to use toollabs:magog/oldver.php. --Stefan2 (talk) 15:32, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

Problem editor returns

An editor you blocked for edit warring last year (his talk page User talk:190.162.52.196) has returned under a different IP, making the same edits to the same articles. He was blocked twice in total although his old blocks have expired. Is he breaking a sockpuppetry rule or do I revert his edits and risk getting into another edit war with him? He was also abusive. I'm sorry but for Jeremy Spencer you need to discuss the matter at the article's talk page before any administrative sanctions can be issued. The various blocks have long since worn off, so there is no block evasion. If the IP reverts you, please report them at the edit warring notice board explaining the long-term behaviour; I might not be around in time to handle this myself. I don't have time to go to AN3 right now but he's reverted sourced fact here after I asked him to discuss (the one you specifically mentioned when you spoke to him) and here after I asked him to discuss . He's also edit warred removing sourced info here , and also blatant edit warring with other editors here , and here . He will clearly never stop edit warring. Thanks for that. Exactly, with him there's no discussion, no compromise possible. It's his way or the highway. I agree that some of his edits are justified, but he will never meet anyone in the middle. I have formulated compromises on wording in three or four cases – but his behaviour is effectively bullying, particularly as he chooses certain articles which I edit, and which he admits he knows nothing about. also i wanted to bring to your attention that his ip 134.228.208.86 remains unblocked and from the edit logs it appears he is the only one with access to it, as it seems to have remained unchanged for several days. i am unsure what can be done about the ip's but i would appreciate it if you could keep an eye on this ip for any further disruptive behavior. thanks and regards Pvpoodle (talk) 19:40, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

matches 2014/2015

i see you have deleted my page "matches season 2014/2015" as you stated it is a duplicate of a page already.....this is not true. NWCFL 2014/2015 covers ONLY league games and shows only the league table and a very brief result grid. My page would have had report links, scorers, a chart of the league positions, and it would have covered all games...preseaaon, league and cups. an example of a similar page can be seen on "2013–14_Leicester_City_F.C._season" which shows exactly the same info as i was going to provide for my team, Glossop, so why is mine deleted and Leicester City's page is not.
