DYK for Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014
On 9 November 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014, which resolved the 2013 U.S. government shutdown and debt-ceiling crisis, may just be kicking the can down the road? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Removed unsourced statement on Arab/Palestinian acceptance of 2-state
Hi, I removed your statement on 2-state solution because it was redundant - the next section dealt with this very point. Also it seemed to be contradicting the next section. Let me know if there are any issues. Kingsindian (talk) 13:02, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
- There is a contradiction within the article, which is that the PLO, which is the main organisation that matters here as well as other Arab States, did not recognise Israel in the 1970s and well into the 1980s. Hence they at that time did not support a two-state solution. Talk of Palestinian rights is in effect talk of a one-state solution. Further, "indication" do not constitute acceptance or support. Disambiguation link notification for July 25
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mixed bathing, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Swimming. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
