:], they wouldn't have been created anywhere else. The reason they weren't created here is because none of the articles in the later seasons (fourth through sixth) had ever been improved beyond C-class, and there didn't seem much point in creating the lists when there weren't people interested in pursuing Good Article status. At this point, it doesn't seem likely that we well be getting any full-season Good Topics; even the first season isn't going to get there without the second and third albums be raised to GA status, and there just isn't interest there either. That said, if you want to create them here, I don't see any barrier to it, though we'll need to increase the minimum number of sections on this talk page to prevent everything else from being archived prematurely. ] (]) 20:43, 3 March 2015 (UTC) :], they wouldn't have been created anywhere else. Here's where we're at with progress on a season one Good Topic. Twenty-three articles down, seven to go! Volume 1 is probably closest to GA at this point in time, and Journey to Regionals likely needs the most work, though the concert tour might be tough as the sources aren't stellar. Still, we're three quarters of the way there :D Frickative 03:05, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Great work! CTJF83 chat 16:26, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

I know it is early to be compiling this, but I wanted to start it nonetheless. This should be easy to update as articles covering the season progress. (Column placement is based on the Season 1 Good Topic also in progress.) --Another Believer (Talk) 04:26, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Huge pat on the back to HorrorFan121 for recently bringing Rachel Berry, Kurt Hummel and Quinn Fabray to Good Article status! :) Of the 20 central character articles, there are currently 3 GAs, 7 of B-class, 6 of C-class, 3 of Start-class and one redirect (Sam Evans). Anyone want to 'adopt' any to polish up? I'm about 40% done with Sue Sylvester, and I've been meaning to work on Terri, Brittany and Santana for months, but haven't quite gotten around to it. I might have a go at Mercedes in the near future, but I'm also liable to forget I've said that about five minutes after hitting 'Save page'.

On a related note, I've added some of the most frequently used development sources to the task force's resources section. I'm having a bit of a mental block though, so if anyone can think of more, please add them! Frickative 18:33, 2 April 2011 (UTC)

Update (thanks to RyannnMaccc for the prod): up to 21 character articles, with 8 GAs (and a nomination being reviewed), 4 of B-class, 5 of C-class, and 2 of Start-class, with no redirects. More "adoptions" are always welcome! BlueMoonset (talk) 14:29, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Correction: 20 articles (not 21) including Characters of Glee; now 9 GAs, 3 B-class, 6 C-class, and 2 Start-class. BlueMoonset (talk) 08:01, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
With the new Holly Holliday C-class article (by someone not in the task force!) we're up to 10 GAs, 3 B-class, and 7 8 C-class. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:48, 26 September 2011 (UTC) (corrected to 8 at 04:47, 28 September 2011 (UTC))

Popular pages tool update

As of January, the popular pages tool has moved from the Toolserver to Wikimedia Tool Labs. The code has changed significantly from the Toolserver version, but users should notice few differences. Please take a moment to look over your project's list for any anomalies, such as pages that you expect to see that are missing or pages that seem to have more views than expected. Note that unlike other tools, this tool aggregates all views from redirects, which means it will typically have higher numbers. (For January 2014 specifically, 35 hours of data is missing from the WMF data, which was approximated from other dates. For most articles, this should yield a more accurate number. However, a few articles, like ones featured on the Main Page, may be off).

Web tools, to replace the ones at tools:~alexz/pop, will become available over the next few weeks at toollabs:popularpages. All of the historical data (back to July 2009 for some projects) has been copied over. The tool to view historical data is currently partially available (assessment data and a few projects may not be available at the moment). The tool to add new projects to the bot's list is also available now (editing the configuration of current projects coming soon). Unlike the previous tool, all changes will be effective immediately. OAuth is used to authenticate users, allowing only regular users to make changes to prevent abuse. A visible history of configuration additions and changes is coming soon. Once tools become fully available, their toolserver versions will redirect to Labs.

If you have any questions, want to report any bugs, or there are any features you would like to see that aren't currently available on the Toolserver tools, see the updated FAQ or contact me on my talk page. Mr.Z-bot (talk) (for Mr.Z-man) 05:08, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Good topics?

Before I spend time creating Good topic templates for the other seasons of Glee (see above), can I ask if someone has already created them elsewhere? Don't want to duplicate work. I don't think project members have been promoting articles to Good status lately, unfortunately, but it might be nice to have the Good topic templates ready so we can see article ratings at-a-glance. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:01, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
