Hollister Co. is a clothing store that targets 14 - 18 year olds. It is an offshoot of Abercrombie & Fitch. It is named after Hollister Ranch, located near Santa Barbara, California. Many in the Southern California surfer community have taken great offense to Abercrombie & Fitch's exploitation of their local culture, however Hollister has proven to be an enormous marketing success throughout the United States.
