Vogue

As a Madonna fan can you tell me what you think about this? I personally like it (for obv reasons lol), but there seems to have a lot of hate from Madonna fans. It's obvious she is lip-syncing in this videos, but in the most of the performances Madonna lip-syncs it too. I love the performance though. — Tom 18:14, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

2007 was the year, 'the real Rihanna' came out of the shelter that she was in during the first 2 years of her career. We don't have an official name (apart R8, she used the same for Unapologetic only as R7 ofc), artwork, actual date or a track listing. So yes, I think it will be a surprise release. There was a rumor while ago that she wanted to release it on the date "Pon de Replay" (May 24) came out -hopes that's true- so the night of May 24 (Sunday) it will be perfect if we get the eight baby <3! — Tom 13:25, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Billboard interview with "Vogue" co-writer Shep Pettibone

Hi IndianBio! Billboard just published an interview with Madge's co-producer Shep Pettibone here. They mostly talk about where the "Vogue" song comes from. Streisand

Hi IndianBio. Could you please tell me why you repeatedly removed an edit request from Talk:List of best-selling albums? sample diff of Talk:List of best-selling albums. It looks like a valid edit request, and the two sources check out okay. Thanks, -- Diannaa (talk) 00:00, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

@Diannaa:, the user had been repeatedly responded as to why the edit request cannot be processed, and why primary sources cannot be used for asserting an album/artist's sales parameter. Please also see Talk:List of best-selling music artists. The user was blocked but came back through a different IP and started socking and edit warring on this. Again, the two sources used take content from Streisand's record label press release, which is a big no. —Indian:BIO 04:07, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

Okay I get it now. But obviously the person who is repeatedly adding it does not understand why his addition keeps getting removed. That's why he keeps re-adding it. There's more info here than be conveyed in an edit summary, but it's difficult to communicate with the user since he keeps jumping to different IPs. @Diannaa: I remember Binksternet raising an ANI thread a few days back about a bunch of Chinese IPs tag-teaming for introducing fanpedia sources and content in the Streisand articles. Maybe its related to that? —Indian:BIO 04:17, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

Maybe, maybe not. It could be the Streisand effect!! (just kidding). Perhaps if he posts the edit request again you could explain why the sources don't work for our purposes. @Diannaa: the IP has been explained a number of times see here, by myself, Mlpearc, Harout72 etc. If you see the history of the page the IP kept on resetting the edit request tag continuously and edit warred. —Indian:BIO 04:27, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for patiently explaining. Your theory is probably correct then, that it was related to the Chinese IP tag-team event. Hopefully it's over. Issuing "block" warnings

Let me just remind you that threatening to block another user (or any user for that matter) for exaggerated and often false reasons is overly pretentious and can be reported to higher administrators for further action as an abuse or personal attack. Diplomacy between users is highly encouraged - and changes in articles can be discussed properly. Not all unsourced edits are vandalism, false information, or disriptive editing. Review edits first before you threat users. Else, such actions can be taken to proper Misplaced Pages authorities. Just keep your cool, okay? @Riot kiddo: you fabricated genres here in the "BadBlood" article, and you have continued to do so I can see. Take that high and mighty attitude to somewhere else, since your talk page shows how grossly you have violated policies of Misplaced Pages and have paid no attention to any warnings given. I can report you for libelous and grossly exaggerated statements, sir. As far as yoour so-called "editing" (oh, I mean, "trying-to-look-smarter") patterns, go take that high and mighty attitude to somewhere else. I have not made further edits on the said page and I use clearly defined sources as much as possible. Can't take the fact that another individual can provide better info? Sorry, you don't belong in Misplaced Pages. Your personal attacks against me is a deliberate violation of the civility code of this community.

Is there a way to delete that nomination page? I did not expected this from Frank Boy. I think it was a delibrate attempt to put me down or somone elf gave this idea to him? I f yes then I know who he might be. Please tell how this can be deleted. I wanted to take it in one attempt. Now, all my hard work has gone into vain. Calm down, nothing happened. But actually it is really an ill-timed nomination without preparation. I don't think the moderators would delete it and I can see that you already notified Nergaal about this. Let him take a decision. But since I'm not an admin, I cannot delete the page.
