1990-Present: Expansion and listing
BONIA expanded its commercial activities to Indonesia, Hong Kong, Brunei, and Taiwan. BONIA actively participated in International Leather Trade Fair in Germany, Italy, Middle East, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
It was listed on the KLCI Bursa Malaysia secondary bourse in 1994 and later was transferred to the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. The brand expanded into Syria in 2009, with flagship outlets located in Aleppo and Damascus. In 2014, the brand marked another milestone by opening its first boutique in The Gate Mall, Kuwait.
For the fiscal year ending June 2011, Bonia had sales of 461.38 million Malaysian Ringgits. For the fiscal year ending June 2012, Bonia had sales of 579.81 million Malaysian Ringgits (US$182.39 million), which is 25.7% higher than 2011.
