Please provide your reasoning as to why you are changing the introductory sentence in the X-Men article. It is not my intention to edit war or to be close-minded. I would be happy to use your version if you could shed some light on why it is a preferred way to write the introductory sentence. JosephSpiral (talk) 17:16, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

As I'd already stated, the other user who reverted the intro sentences explained why it was that way, and that is how I've seen it explained for some time now, so I was only following what I believed was protocol. If it was decided upon something else in the wikiprojects area, fine, but make sure you mention that in an edit summary next time to avoid confusion. That's what those summaries are there for. And please don't accuse me of edit warring when I've explained most of my edits as following the believed guidelines at the time.71.121.241.118 (talk) 17:43, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
Ok, I see why you did that. Thanks for responding. JosephSpiral (talk) 19:10, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

Can you help me modify a page

I added Spider-Man to the X-Men page as he becomes a instructor at the Jean Grey School — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rymax23 (talkcontribs) 15:07, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

And as I explained in each edit summary where I removed him that being an instructor at the school does NOT make someone an X-Man. Toad isn't, Doop isn't, and Deathlock never was. Stop adding him. 71.121.241.118 (talk) 00:03, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

warning

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Quill (comics). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. RoadWarrior445 (talk) 00:52, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
