			Why is his past presidency of an alumni association so notable? I can see that being a member of the Senate might be because that relates to day-to-day operations of the IIT (I think!) but the alumni group is really not terribly special. Nor, I suspect, are quite a few of the cases that are mentioned. We are not here to list every achievement that Bharti has ever had nor - to pre-empt something that will probably happen - to act as a part of his election campaign literature. - ] (]) 20:19, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Alumni association
