Nicholas Leonicus Thomaeus (Template:Lang-it, Template:Lang-sq; 1456–1531) was a Venetian scholar and professor of philosophy at the University of Padua for 30 years.

Thomaeus was born to a family of Albanian origin from Durazzo. At the University of Padua he achieved fame as the first professor to teach Aristotle in the original language, and had among his students a young Nicholas Copernicus. He was praised by Erasmus of Rotterdam for his polymath knowledge.
