Among the top ten countries in the world in terms of deforestation India has been ranked to 10th position. Where world annual deforestation is estimated as 13.7 million hectares a year. India has considered to be a very vast country after US and China, India is the most populated nation in the World.

Effects

The major cause of deforestation in India is the global effect which results to the climate change. This has also effected the lives of wild animals and birds including the bats.
