Matthew Pateman ( ) also known as Matthew James is an English singer and actor. He is best known as the former lead singer of the English 1990s boy band, Bad Boys Inc.

He trained from the age of eight at the Patricia Hammond School of Dramatic Art and took further training at the London Studio Centre. Pateman appeared in the BBC daytime soap Doctors, and the musical Boyband at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End. He was later in a rock/pop/electro band called Jean, and a member of Madhen Productions.
