Orphaned non-free media (File:Brasillach.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Brasillach.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:05, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
Smallpox image RfC
You are one of the editors who participated in previous discussion regarding the image of the sick child on the Smallpox article. There is currently an RfC about the image on the talk page that you might like to participate in. Please note that Misplaced Pages rules allow for the notification of editors who have previously participated in discussions regarding the issue. Thanks. Malke 2010 (talk) 17:36, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for July 29
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of UFC bonus award recipients, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Trevor Smith and Demetrious Johnson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:Pierre-Bourdieu-cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Pierre-Bourdieu-cover.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Misplaced Pages. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. czar ⨹ 16:44, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Encyclopaedia Metallum, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Misplaced Pages, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Feel free to take up the cause of adding the social media site at the project page, but if you're going to add it back, at least recognize that you're adding incorrect formatting per MOS:NUM, and more importantly, you're removing a maintenance template, {{citation needed}}, which is a violation of guidelines.
