The Revenue Development Foundation (RDF) is a non profit consultancy with the overall objective of supporting governments to manage and increase their domestic revenues. RDF has established the world’s first Online Repository, launched by the Ministry of Mineral Resources in Sierra Leone in January 2012. The Repository contains data on mineral rights, licenses and payments from mining companies. The availability of the information in the database is expected to make the interaction between mining companies and government in Sierra Leone more transparent.
