I think a section needs to be added on his plagurised films. Hes had a few films which have been taken from Hollywood and i think these need to be mentioned in the article. In particular Lagaan as he was responsible for the script.

Personal life - Link to Jessica hines is incorrect

The link to Jessica hines is to the wrong person, Jessica Hynes is an actress and not the same person as Jessica hines.

Religion

It doesn't. There are many modern people of all religions who do not accept the efficacy of religious rituals, but maintain their religious identity. They may observe rituals for reasons of culture, tradition and performance, without truly "believing" literally that rituals affect reality objectively. In general, I prefer an image that shows the person "at the top of their game" and if they are still active, a newer image. I think both images qualify on both scores and would not favor one over the other based on only a one year difference. I favor the 2013 image as expressing more personality, and better portraying his facial features. In addition, I prefer the 2013 image artistically Cullen Let's discuss it 06:32, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

Dil Chahta Hai

"According to critics, the film broke new grounds by showing Indian urban youth as they really are today. The characters depicted were modern, suave and cosmopolitan. The film did moderately well and was a success mostly in urban cities."
