Lost is a 2004 American drama/adventure television series by JJ Abrams. It is produced by Bad Robot Production and Touchstone Television.

The survivors of an airplane crash on a deserted island try to cope with the challenges of survival.

Filmed in Hawaii, USA
The pilot episode was the most expensive in history at $5 million. $250,000 of that was to ship the plane pieces to Hawaii.
Not counting part 2 of the pilot, each episode begins with a close-up of someone's eye opening. Except for the pilot, each episode then focuses on that character and includes flashbacks from that character's point of view, explaining why they were on the plane.
