Chuck Tingle is the pseudonym of an anonymous author of niche erotica. The persona is portrayed as a folksy father from Montana. Tingle stays in-character during interviews and on his Twitter feed. His work is self-published on Amazon.com. Tingle began with writing dinosaur erotica and expanded to stories based on various inanimate objects. His work has been described as "absurd" and "bizarre". In April 2015, he began writing a sex advice column at Death and Taxes magazine.

In April 2016, Space Raptor Butt Invasion was shortlisted for a Hugo Award.
