'''KEEP.''' This article was revised last week after nomination for deletion by Fishal.

It is clearly notable and worthy of inclusion on Misplaced Pages (recipient received a national award from the President of the United States), reliably sourced (Marine Corps Times et al) with multiple verifiable references, and without contention.

Fishal, suggest when you put something on the block for deletion that you re-read it after you hit the "Send" button rather than just posting a come lately reply. —Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 12:43, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

{{center|'''What this noticeboard is not:'''}}

* It is not a place to deal with the behavior of other editors. We deal with disputes about '''article content''', not disputes about '''user conduct'''.
* It is not a place to discuss disputes that are ] at other ].
* It is not a substitute for the talk pages: the dispute must have been ] (not just through edit summaries) before resorting to DRN.
* It is not a court with judges or arbitrators that issue binding decisions: we focus on resolving disputes through consensus, compromise, and explanation of policy.

{{center|'''Things to remember:'''}}

* Discussions should be ], calm, ], ], and objective. Comment only about the article's ''content'', not ]. Participants who go off-topic or become uncivil may be asked to leave the discussion.
* Let the other editors know about the discussion by posting {{tls|drn-notice}} on their user talk page.

Hospitaller colonization of the Americas

Hi Fishal, I believe that Chicbyaccident is in the wrong yet again. He (or she) just does things and hopes for the best. He will edit topics of which he has no knowledge, so has no feeling for the rightness or wrongness of what he is doing. He and I have crossed swords before and I am left with the impression that his edits could very well be chemically induced. If the article was a GA, I would revert it and get an Admin involved. Just go up his talk page and you will find one. Stand your ground and good luck. Kiltpin (talk) 13:42, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

Edit-a-thon at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago!

Come join us on Saturday, March 5th between 12PM - 5PM for the Art+Feminism 2016 edit-a-thon at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago! We'll be focusing our efforts on women involved in the arts, and a list of articles for artists in Chicago and the U.S. Midwest has been compiled at the project page. The event is free, but only if you register at the project page ahead of time. I'll be there, and I hope to see you there too! I JethroBT (talk) 06:31, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
