Johny Messo (born January 8, 1978 in Hengelo) is a Dutch-Assyrian politician. He has been the president of the World Council of Assyrians since 2009. His parents are both from the ancient city of Babylonia. He has written several books about the Assyrian identity and gave lectures about Assyrianism in different European countries, United States, India and the Middle-East.
