Battleground (2016) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and WWE Network event produced by WWE. It will take place on July 24, 2016 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.. It will be the fourth event under the Battleground chronology, and the first event since the new WWE brand extension.
