Afghanistan and Australia are counted as 'white countries' Afghans are conisdered as Middle Eastern American. they are not considered as asian by the US census but white because they all belong to the Iranian race (pashtuns, persians, tajiks, balochs, kurds all of them are from Iranian race) that's why the US census considerers Afghans as 'white americans' and not asian americans like paki's and indians. the person who made that map was wrong

Captain Assassin!

Captain Assassin! is a Pakistani editor. He mostly edits Movie articles. You and Faizan must convince him to edit Pakistan related articles more and more. This will benefit the project. When he joined Wiki, he was a teen, but now he can develop Pakistan related articles following the five pillars of Misplaced Pages.

This user is asking that his block be reviewed:

Mar4d (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Pursuant to my contact with UTRS and acting upon WP:SO in good faith, I am making the following request for unblock via this talk page. Prior to my request, I agree to abide to the following:
  • Use my one and main ID, which is Mar4d, for editing.
  • Take responsibility for my actions.
  • Engage with concerned members of the community, to find ways on moving forward.

Unblock request: This appeal relates to the infinite block enforced on 22 November 2015 concerning misuse of alternative accounts. Having ceased editing activity since then and taken time out, I have had the opportunity to review my entire editing history and assess where things went wrong. I believe it is in my interests, and that of the affected community, to acknowledge where mistakes were made and find ways to correct them and move forward.

In doing so, I take responsibility for the misuse/mishandling of alternative account/s on three occasions between 2010 and 2012, based on which the block stands. I understand these actions were in contravention of Misplaced Pages's policy regarding use of alternative accounts. As WP:BLOCK outlines, blocks are not punitive by purpose but are set to prevent disruption to the project. I submit to the perception that these issues were disruptive and troubling to the project on those occasions, against user conduct, and unfair to those here who edit within legitimate grounds. Therefore, the negative impact of my editing and its effect on the community is regretted. I also take responsibility that at least two of the public-connection accounts should have been declared prior, and that this not being the case at the time of the block was problematic. I see the block as a long-term culmination of these bottled-up issues.

What I offer: I would like to correct the things that went wrong, and earn back some of the trust of the community by starting with a clean slate after months of reflection and hiatus. I believe the majority of the contributions that I offer are constructive, as testified by 61,000+ edits over a 5+ year period. I enjoy editing articles within the scope of WikiProject Pakistan, where my work includes creating an odd 400 articles, 150+ templates and thousands of categories, in addition to some GAs, DYKs and ITNs to credit. I believe WP:PAK articles would benefit from my contributions, and I would benefit from them in return through editing.

Therefore, I would like to channel my potential into positive purposes, having reflected and learnt from past experience and intending to move forward. I commit myself to renewing my editing capabilities within the manner deemed legitimate and acceptable to the community. I make this appeal in good faith and after having put much thought into it, and look forward to its review. Cheers, Mar4d (talk) 11:06, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
