Teoscar Hernández (born October 15, 1992) is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Career

Hernández signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent in February 2011. He made his professional debut that season for the Dominican Summer League Astros. Hernández played 2012 with the Gulf Coast Astros and Lexington Legends of the Class A South Atlantic League and 2013 with the Quad Cities River Bandits of the Class A Midwest League. He started 2014 with the Lancaster JetHawks of the Class A-Advanced California League and was promoted to the Corpus Christi Hooks of the Class AA Texas League during the season. He hit 21 home runs and batted .292 with a .897 on-base plus slugging (OPS).

Hernández began the 2016 season with Corpus Christi, and was promoted to the Fresno Grizzlies of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League. On August 12, 2016, the Astros promoted Hernández to the major leagues.
