John Street, Dingle

Dingle is a small town in County Kerry, Republic of Ireland, situated on the Atlantic coast 80km west-south-west of Tralee and 100km west-north-west of Killarney. The town lies beside a natural harbour and Slievanea mountain on the Dingle peninsula, a large peninsula south of the River Shannon and north of the Ring of Kerry.

Principal industries in the town are tourism and fishing.

The town has many opportunities to hear traditional celtic music, particularly in the summer tourist season. For a number of years it has been possible to rely on a resident dolphin named Fungi showing up for tour boats operating from the harbour.
