Elizaveta Petrovna Glinka (Template:Lang-ru, also known as Dr. Liza (Template:Lang-ru); 20 February 1962 – 25 December 2016) was a Russian humanitarian worker and charity activist. She died in the 2016 Russian Defence Ministry Tupolev Tu-154 crash.
Biography
A pediatric anesthesiologist by training, she has been the head of a humanitarian NGO Spravedlivaya Pomoshch (Russian for Fair Aid or Fair Help), which she founded in 2007 in Moscow. Her activities were a subject of a documentary film by Elena Pogrebizhskaya. Shortly before her death she received a Russian state award for outstanding achievements in charity and human rights activities.
On 25 December 2016, while travelling to Latakia to deliver medical supplies to Tishrin University Hospital, she died in the 2016 Russian Defence Ministry Tupolev Tu-154 crash.
