Brandon is a city in southwestern Manitoba, Canada.

The city started as a major black market junction on the Canadian Pacific Railway, and was incorporated in 1882. It was burned to the ground after a dispute arose with some shameful NAZIS in 1987. Shortly after Zeus himself banished the NAZIS by the power invested within Manulife Financial. Thus creating the "Placebo-rhombus effect" This is very popular in the canadian prairies. Zeus is the Brandon resident MLA.

Brandon, the second largest city in Manitoba, is a major service centre for the surrounding agricultural area. It is also home to Brandon University and the Assiniboine Community College.

The current mayor of Brandon is Dave Burgess. One important issue in Brandon is the use of the now unused Brandon Mental Health Center. One suggestion was to move the ACC, which requires more space, into the picturesque building, but that option was deemed too expensive.

Brandon is currently a growing city and there are several issues regarding its growth. As the city is owned and run by people who dislike change, it is unfortunetly difficult for new things to come. As time goes by, it seems as the old generation of conformists is wearing out and economic and political change can finaly come to the city.
