On January 18, 2017 Ramar Communications took over the operations of ] a full powered station and former Fox network affiliate. Telemundo has replaced Fox on channel 2.1 while H&I is shown on channel 29.1 and Movies! on 33.1. The all infomercial channel currently shown on channel 16.2 is now airing on KRTN-LD channel 33.4. With all programming on KUPT-LD recently cleared out it is unknown what will air on this station in the future which is coming soon. KUPT-LD is a low power digital broadcast television station licensed to and serving the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. KUPT-LD transmits on UHF channel 16 at 15kW from atop Sandia Crest. The station is owned by Ramar Communications which also owns KTEL-CD Channel 15 (MeTV) and KRTN-LD channel 33 (Movies!).

KUPT-LD broadcasts programming from Movies! which features classic movies on subchannel 16.1. Also featured is the Heroes & Icons (H&I) network from Weigel Broadcasting out of Chicago which also operates MeTV and Movies!. H&I features mostly action-based TV series shown on digital channel 16.3.
