JFR, as it is known to is students, is home to a very diverse group of students and teachers. The ] students who have been infiltrating the school over the last number of years with their dark views and suicidal thoughts are replacing the "]" of old who were known for their tough talk but lack of physical action in backing up their words.

John F. Ross C.V.I. is a public high school located in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It is the only public high school in the region that offers ESL and French Immersion programs, drawing students from nearby towns like Rockwood. It is one of the largest schools in the area, with an estimated 1,500-2,000 students.

Opened in 1956, it celebrated its 50th anniversary with a reunion in May 2006.
