The Chennai Tambaram Corporation is about to Create by government Of Tamil Nadu to Expand Chennai cityLimit.Tambaram corporation Process under consideration of TN Government and expected to implement soon.The formation of satellite corporations has been gathering dust since the DMK government in 2008 organised public consultations for corporations based at Tambaram and Ambattur. In 2011, areas under Ambattur municipality were merged with Chennai Corporation.Tambaram Corporation will Act as zone for Greater Chennai Corporation.
Corporation Areas
Chennai Tambaram corporation areas follows: Tambaram corporation will encompass two municipalities Tambaram Sembakkam, four town panchayats in Perungalathur, Peerkankaranai, Madambakkam and Chitlapakkam, and seven village panchayats including census Town Mudichur,Agaramthen, Medavakkam, Vengaivasal.
