Okay, I understand it now. I was thinking that extreme metal was more of a style of one of the subgenres of heavy metal, rather than death/black/thrash/doom metal bands being just plain extreme metal bands. In other words, I was thinking that, for example, extreme death metal is just a more 'extreme' version of just plain death metal. --] 18:34, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Extreme metal

Okay, I understand it now. I was thinking that extreme metal was more of a style of one of the subgenres of heavy metal, rather than death/black/thrash/doom metal bands being just plain extreme metal bands.
