| :Yeah, thanks, I appreciate it. That was a bit dodgy- it's rarely worth trying to circumvent the process like that. Mergers usually run for at least several days, but 6 hours and four votes were way, way too short. While investigating it, I found that WP:SNOW is not actually policy, it's only an essay.
