Olaf, (1370 - August 23, 1387), whose name has no standard transcription, ruled in Denmark as Oluf III Haakonsen and in Norway as Olav IV Haakonsson

He was the son of Haakon and Margaret and king of Denmark (1376-1387 and of Norway (1380-1387). His mother Margaret greatly influenced Olaf though being the king of Denmark and Norway. Upon his death, Margaret unified the three Scandinavian kingdoms under her crown in 1389.
