List of war crimes (reverted)

Thank you for your recent edit on this page. Unfortunately it had to be reverted. Although the information you added was factual, the information you removed was also factual, and the effect of your edits was to alter the neutrality of the article. user:Philip Baird Shearer has already told you likewise earlier today when he reverted a similar edit you added. Please discuss on the talk page if you have a query. FT2 17:04, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi thanks for the interaction. Regarding the neautrality/bias, if you have an article from a governmental authority that states they have NO authority to make a judgment one way or the other (not even an opinion) as to whether or not a particular action was a crime.. then to interperate that citation to mean proof of that crim would be a bias. That is the Bias in the aformentioned article.

You can follow the discussion on the discussions article page if you like

Thanks again! --DjSamwise 18:32, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

As you are new to Misplaced Pages you may not be familar with the Three-revert rule Regards Philip Baird Shearer 19:11, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

As you have now reverted the article more than three times in a 24 hour period, you have breached the Three-revert rule. Please try not to do this in future - Misplaced Pages is a collaborative project and it's important to work with others rather than against them.

Thanks for showing that to me. I have read it and found you've done the same thing.. the only difference is, I've actually tried altering my view for a neautral compromise, with discussions on every edit. You've made no such concessions and only discuss about 1/3 of your reversions. If you claim it's colaborative why do you revert everything of mine with out even a consideration of my view? Even simple things like how you worded your first citation (repeating the same info) I've tried to edit that (simple symmantic edit) and you are compelled to revert that too. What's the deal? --DjSamwise 22:31, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi DjSamwise and welcome to Misplaced Pages. I am afraid there isn't much to be done about certain contentious articles, especially where they involve relations between the U.S. and other countries. I have spent a lot of time on these, but ultimately it is fruitless when the tide of opinion is against you. You might try finding common ground, but I personally find I'm happier editing non-contentious articles. -- Cecropia 02:21, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Following recent edits, I have had a look at the article, which has led to tightening up the introduction, and adding some missing information on the matter to the article List of war crimes. I hope this will help. If you have a query, whether about this article, or Misplaced Pages policies and editing in general, then please contact me on my talk page to discuss. FT2 05:12, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks! My only hope is that we can remove most of the POV comments and keep the article a factually based one. It's a good historical refference page but not when predetermined bias tries to push any aspect of it one way or the other and call the opinion fact. --DjSamwise 16:58, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

re:HOlA!

I do not believe I reverted any of your edits on Biblical inerrancy. I did some copy editing, and rearranging, and fixed spelling, and minor things, but I have not been the ones doing the blanket reverts. If you find my editing behavior questionable, I don't mind discussing specific instances, and perhaps we can reach an understanding. As for your suggestion on creating a page "critism to inerrency", this is what is called POV forks or Misplaced Pages:Content forking. It is discouraged. In order to write a neutral article, you must present all relavent Points of View, without giving undue weight to either side. Removing any POV that is critical of inerrancy violates NPOV policy. There may be a better way of incorporating this information into the article, sure, and we always have to make sure that we are not debating or arguing (simply objectively reporting the POVs of our sources instead). Any more content specific information I would prefer to discuss on the article talk page. Thanks for contacting me, and relax, you didn't 'mess anything up' on my user talk page!--Andrew c 15:43, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

War of aggression

I have rewritten the War of aggression page. You might like to have a look at it and see if it now meets with your approval. --Philip Baird Shearer 15:50, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

"also an alcoholic"

Actually, that sort of page is very common. Some schoolkid doing a nonsense article about his buddies. If they're in Greece, it's mid-evening and they're drinking and laughing at it. Happens all the time. Fan-1967 20:52, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Impending Deletion

The following pages which you are listed as creating are may be deleted soon for the reasons listed:

Wikiexperiment is not a namespace, and the article Wikiexperiment: Dukes of Discordia is in fact in the article namespace and does not assert notability and can be speedied. If this is a Wikiproject to develop articles on Dukes of Discordia it belongs in the Misplaced Pages namespace. --Signed and Sealed, JJJJust (T C) 18:47, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Louis Farrakhan

Thanks for your note. I've experienced the same problem. Busy time for me ibut I will try to chime in. You may want to do an RfC as this reverting business is a recurrent problem.--Mantanmoreland 04:27, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
