Goop is a tire additive used in the sport of slot car racing. It increases the traction of the sponge rubber tyre on a wooden track surface.
The Goop can be applied in two ways. It can be added in lines to the wooden track surface, and it can be added directly to the tyre. When applied in lines to the wooden track surface, it is picked up cummulatively through laps and maintians traction evenly over time.
