Dandelion Records was a British label started in 1969 by the British DJ John Peel, as a way to get the music he liked onto record. It is said to have been named after one of Peel's hamsters.
One LP was by the ageing Gene Vincent but others were by younger or noncommercial artists, including Bridget St John, Medicine Head, David Bedford, Lol Coxhill, and Kevin Coyne.
Dandelion Records were distributed by, successively, CBS, Warner Brothers, and Polydor. The last issues were in 1972.
A number of the records were reissued as CDs in the 1990s by See For Miles Records.
