Mary Dagen McDowell (born January 7, 1969) is an American anchor on the Fox Business Network and a business correspondent for the Fox News Channel. She is also a former business contributor on the Imus In The Morning radio show, and a regular guest on FNC's Hannity.

Education and career

A native of Campbell County, Virginia, from a family of Irish background, McDowell graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Art History. McDowell began her career as a financial journalist at the Institutional Investor's Newsletter Division.

Career with FOX Business Channel

McDowell co-hosts "Mornings with Maria" on "Fox Business Network", Markets Now, appears regularly on Your World with Neil Cavuto and on Imus in the Morning, occasionally on Outnumbered, and has been a weekly panelist for Cashin' In (she has won the Cashin' In Challenge three times 2013, 2014, 2015 ,defeating the other three panelists, all of whom are professional money managers). She has most recently served as a panelist on Cavuto On Business which airs on Saturday, but took over hosting Bulls and Bears in 2016 following predecessor Brenda Buttner's eventually fatal cancer diagnosis.

Personal life

McDowell is married to Fox News economic analyst Jonas Max Ferris since 2005.
