WIXC is the callsign for 1060 The Mighty WIXC, an AM sports radio station in Melbourne, Florida, United States. It broadcasts at a medium-wave frequency of 1060 kHz. It is owned by Genesis Communications. It broadcasts from a 50 kW transmitter in Titusville, Florida, though the transmitter is drastically reduced in power in the evening to 5 kW. Although its primary location is Melbourne, its offices are in Mims, which is north of Titusville.
WIXC is the Space Coast affiliate for ESPN Radio. They are also the local affiliate for Orlando Magic and Tampa Bay Devil Rays games, as well as NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races.
